Spec ial interests such as marine biology or other subjects are also an avenue for exploration. There are also the odd types of scholarships which include those for left-handed people or someone wearing duct tape. Corporations such as soda companies including Pepsi have special college funds as well.
Filling out the federal form for FAFSA is important because it will make you eligible for many scholarships as well that are federal or state-based. It is not hard to fill out and there are even videos on the the internet that show you how to do so. Take a pad of paper with you so you can jot down ideas about sources for scholarships as you are at the mall or in town.
